I bought these for French doors to our patio. Occasionally the door isn’t fully latched and our cat avails herself of the opportunity to go for a walk. The chime is nice and the sound allows to me know if the door has opened or hasn’t shut properly.

The item comes with super strong double sided tape for easy mounting on your door and is a much better option than drilling a hole in the wall. I would recommend it for a gift or for your home.
I can use a retail store doorbell on ametal door or mount it on a woodendoor with a sticker; the bell has magnets. Clear sound. Nice Christmas decorations. Highly recommended as Christmas gift;)
